Restoring ecosystems with RES: Ecological offsets and turnkey solutions
Modern development has significantly disrupted ecosystems, leading to challenges like declining biodiversity, invasive species, and polluted water systems. For example, Pennsylvania faces critical water quality issues, with over 2,400 miles of impaired streams documented between 2020 and 2022. Ecological offsets address these challenges by restoring ecosystems to balance environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing long-term sustainability.
Through an innovative full-delivery approach using Nature-based solutions, RES addresses biodiversity loss, water quality issues, and habitat degradation, providing a pathway for both public and private entities to achieve regulatory compliance while fostering sustainability, cutting costs, mitigating risk, and attaining ecological uplift.
