Senior Ecologist

Caitlin has more than a decade of experience supporting water resource, wetland, and species habitat projects throughout the Midwest. Her work combines ecological science, environmental permitting, and regulatory strategy to help clients successfully navigate complex natural resource challenges.

As a Professional Wetland Scientist, Caitlin has extensive experience conducting wetland delineations, securing federal, state, and local permits, and supporting mitigation banking initiatives. Throughout her career, she has completed more than 140 wetland delineations, secured dozens of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permits, and managed permitting efforts for commercial, industrial, municipal, and conservation-focused projects.

Caitlin has played key roles in the development of stream and wetland mitigation banks across Illinois and Indiana, serving as a principal author and researcher for mitigation banking instruments and prospectuses. Her experience also includes habitat mitigation planning for protected bat species, vegetation management planning, and ecological assessments supporting infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Caitlin is an active advocate for the integration of technology into ecological practice. She is an FAA-licensed drone pilot and has presented nationally on topics including wetland mapping, digital innovation, and environmental data collection. She brings together technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and practical problem-solving to advance restoration, conservation, and habitat management projects.
