Desmond has nearly 30 years of experience in mitigation banking, ecological restoration, and environmental credit markets. Working throughout the southeastern United States, he helps clients identify and implement mitigation solutions that support both project development and long-term environmental stewardship.

Desmond’s career has been closely tied to the evolution of the mitigation banking industry. He has contributed to the development, implementation, and marketing of some of the region’s most notable mitigation and conservation banks, helping connect project needs with effective restoration outcomes. His experience spans wetland, stream, and endangered species mitigation projects that collectively support thousands of acres of restored and protected habitat.

Desmond manages mitigation credit sales and works closely with environmental consultants, engineers, developers, regulatory agencies, and conservation organizations to deliver comprehensive ecological solutions. His role requires a deep understanding of mitigation markets, regulatory frameworks, and client objectives, allowing him to serve as a trusted advisor throughout the permitting and mitigation process.
